The Wrecking Crew

They arrive at noon;

The wrecking crew.

The grounds grow quiet

As they walk through.

Their work is sport

But requires no spectators.

They’ve earned the title

of Little Devastators.

Collapsing buildings

In one fell swoop.

Kicking and screaming

Until it all goes poof.

Conquering lands

In their name.

Demanding loyalty

With their fame.

In their wake

A sea of tears.

Two foot tall Adolfs

Instilling fear.
